At Follow Up Ministries International (FUMI), we equip and train ordinary people to go where pastors and other parishioners may not be able to go — into the juvenile centers, prison yards and solitary cells — where spiritual help and nurture are so desperately needed.

Much our mission is accomplished by volunteers, called the God Squad. Our trainees go where inmates live — they walk the tiers, ministering to individuals and groups in cell blocks and dayrooms, as well as chapels. They deal with live situations. It's the real world!

We are committed to assisting the body of Christ in fulfilling our Lord's Great Commission in taking the Gospel message into the world, making disciples as we go. Our purpose is to help build an indigenous church behind the walls of prison, jails and juvenile institutions. Our Focus is on developing ministry leadership by reaching and training workers and prisoners to be disciple-makers, returning them to their families and living units as ambassadors of Jesus Christ, our Lord.
